Harris County Safety Committee

The Harris County Safety Committee is composed of members from various county precincts and departments to research and develop safety and health solutions within Harris County that have been identified as areas where enhancements to employee safety and health activities can be made.

The Safety Committee has provided many safety training aids in the form of video tapes, CD's and the like that may be borrowed to train employees. For detailed information on the Safety Committee and to arrange the loan of Training Programs please contact:

This section provides county precincts and departments an in-house resource for safety consulting, safety and health information and training for employee safety and health programs. Responsibilities include developing safety and health procedures, safety audits of operations and facilities, accident investigation, safety meeting programs and accident analysis. Safety and Health personnel are available on request to assist county precincts and departments with their safety and health activities. The safety section also supports the activities of the Harris County Safety Committee.
